Homes for Sale & Sold Report for September 2017
Hello, I hope you had a great September!
The market did see another slow down in the month of September but sales still remain strong for homeowners. The slow down can be contributed due to the seasonal change and school starting back. Although there was a slight slow down in sales, homeowners should still stake advantage of the equity that has built up over the last few years. Inventory still remains at historic lows and although the holidays are approaching, it is still the best time to sell!
The Statistical Summary for the Tri-County shows that New Listings are UP 3% over last year to currently 18,225 YTD and UP 8% over 2015, Closed Homes are UP 3% over last year to currently 13,605 YTD and UP 14% over 2015. This also indicates that the Median Sales Price is UP 4% over last year to currently $253,528 and the Average Sales Price is UP 6% to currently $344,793.
